About Us

On 8th April 2021, Kill Celtic F.C. became the first club in Kildare to be awarded the FAI Club Mark Entry Level. The FAI Club Mark is an award based on best practice in the governance, management and administration of a football club.

Kill Celtic Football Club was formed in 1999 and now boasts 10 Under Age Teams and a Senior Team, all competing in the KDUL. The club is fully affiliated with the FAI, Kildare & District League, Leinster Senior League & United Churches League.

Our club is community based and underpinned by a hard-working volunteering structure. We are committed to ensuring that all children can enjoy playing football at a social interaction level. We are also dedicated to catering for a competitive structure whereby children can progress right up through the various levels that we provide.

The Club plays its home games at our Straffan Road pitches in Kill and match days are generally every Saturday. Kick off times vary depending on the age group and can range from 10:30 am up to 2 pm kick off time.

Each child is fully insured and indemnified when playing for the club and we have a strong club ethos at Kill Celtic in terms of child welfare and protection. View memberships options.

The Kill Celtic Football Club runs an academy on Saturday Mornings on the Kill National School Astro. This club is aimed at children between 5 & 7 years old. Our academy coach Brendan Slattery has designed football sessions to encourage participation, inclusiveness, develop football skills and have fun.
